Newborn Experience | All props provided
My Newborn Session captures the first days of your baby in a creative and unique way. There is nothing more beautiful than newborn photography and I know the importance of preserving your family's most precious moments and documenting them in the right time.

Scheduling
Please contact me as soon as possible to ensure availability. I recommend capturing newborn portraits in the first 4-14 days. This is the time when they are very sleepy, flexible and still have that curled up precious newborn look.

Booking Retainer
A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to hold your spot, which will be applied towards the Session balance.The retainer fee is non-refundable. Upon payment, Allison Kolafa Photography will reserve the time and date agreed upon by both parties. Prices are non-negotiable and only guaranteed once the retainer has been paid. The photographer reserves the right to offer your session date to another client after 48 hours if your retainer fee has not been paid in full. The remaining balance is due on the appointment date.

Consultation
I offer a consultation during which we discuss the ideas for the upcoming session, style, colors, props and wardrobe. I will work closely with you on preparation and ideas and will make sure that you will have a relaxed newborn session experience. Once your session is booked, I will send you a Newborn Guide with plenty of tips on how to prepare for your baby’s first photo session.

The Session
Newborn sessions take place in my studio, located in Atascocita, when your baby is 4-14 days old. When you book your session, we will tentatively put your due date on our calendar. Once you deliver, please notify us as soon as possible, and we have 14 days to get you into the studio.
If you deliver late or early we can always adjust the date. If baby has older siblings, I’d love to capture a few family & sibling photos at the beginning of the session. I do request that an additional adult be present to watch older siblings. Due to the nature of a newborn session, I kindly request for older children to be taken home or out of the studio once those photos are completed.

How long will your session last?
Newborn photography sessions
generally last around three hours. There is plenty of time for nursing, soothing, and lots of cuddles. I strive to create a relaxed and peaceful environment, and my priority is always your comfort and the safety of your newborn. These sessions are delicate, and I patiently take the time to perfect each pose. My gentle and detailed approach allows us to capture those precious moments that become the most beautiful, meaningful portraits.

Viewing
Your beautifully retouched images will be available for viewing within 3 weeks.

PACKAGES
You're guaranteed a certain number of digital images in each package. Please check below for the specific number in each package. If you need more digital images than a package includes, you may purchase additional images. Digital images are $25 each, or you can purchase all of them for $150. You also have the option to print via my website, although there is no obligation to do so. Galleries are active for 90 days and are then purged permanently.
